Privacy Policy

Ugly Pet is a game developed by Fineod Oy ("we", "us"), Finland. This policy explains what information the game handles. Fineod Oy is the data controller.

Information we collect

We do not collect, store on our servers, or share any personal information. The game does not require an account, does not ask for your name, email, location, contacts or photos, and does not send your game data to us.

Information stored on your device

Your game progress – your monster, its nickname, its needs, your coins, gems and items, and the time you last played – is saved only on your device. It never leaves your device. Uninstalling the game or clearing its data deletes this information.

Advertising and analytics

The game contains no advertising and no analytics or tracking tools.

Purchases

The current version of the game does not offer purchases with real money. If purchases are added, they will be processed by Google Play under Google's Privacy Policy. We would then receive only the information needed to deliver the purchase (such as an order identifier), never your payment details. This policy will be updated before that version is released.

Emailing us

If you contact support by email, we use your email address and message only to answer you, and delete them when they are no longer needed for that.

Children

The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation you have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you and to have it corrected or deleted. Because the game stores nothing on our servers, the only data we may hold is support email. You can also lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
